For Ultra Pure Analytical Grade Water
Deion Ultra is a ready-to-use resin mix designed for producing ultra-pure analytical grade water (conductivity up to 0.08-0.06 ?S).
It is used in addition to a traditional reverse osmosis system (forming an RO-DI system) to remove all residual salts. It is suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums. Do not use to treat water already present in the tank.
The resin's lifespan depends on the purity of the incoming water, and the only waste products are H+ and OH- ions, which recombine to form ultra-pure H2O. No sodium is present in the output. For proper use, the resin can be placed inside a 10” filter, connected directly to the output of the reverse osmosis system.
Deion is particularly suitable for starting up tanks and topping off evaporated water. Once exhausted, the resin should be replaced. Average particle diameter:
0.6 - 0.8 mm To assess the residual effectiveness of the resin, it is recommended to install a conductivity meter or a TDS meter (Total Dissolved
Solids meter) at the system output.
## Instructions
Place the contents of the package into a refillable cartridge and then inside the filter (vessel) at the output of the reverse osmosis system. The resin is preserved with a preservative liquid that may have a pungent odor. Do not sniff. At first use, rinse with osmotic water or discard a volume of water equal to 3-4 times the amount of resin used.
