Oceanlife Life Carbon is a superior quality granular activated carbon produced by physical activation of pre-charred coconut shel ls. Thanks to the optimal mesoporous and microporous conformation, it can be used both in sea water than in fresh water and is particularly effective for continuous removal of organic pollutants (including stinging substances emitted by corals), dyes (phenol), pesticides, medicines, chlorine derivatives and compounds that cause bad odors. It complies with the standard UNI EN ISO 12915 “Granular Activated Carbon for use in the treatment of water intended for human consumption.” Wash in fresh pure water before use. While it is the carbon with the lowest rate of dust on the market, if not washed in water can release dust.
