Bromine supplement for marine aquariums
Special Bromine Supplement for Reef Aquariums
Bromine is present in seawater at a concentration of 65 mg/L. It belongs to the category of the most abundant elements, much more plentiful than strontium and boron. Modern measuring instruments have shown that this element is used by the animals in aquariums and thus needs to be replenished.
The special formulation of this supplement makes it perfect for maintaining the correct level of this important element.
Details: 1 drop (0.08 ml) in 20 liters = +0.5 mg/L (ppm)
1 ml in 100 liters = +1.23 mg/L (ppm)
Hard corals use bromine for the synthesis of chromoproteins and for building their skeletons. Zooxanthellae also use a small amount of bromine for the synthesis of photosynthetic enzymes. To achieve the best colors, the bromine concentration should be kept as close as possible to the natural level, as even slightly lower concentrations drastically reduce the amount of bromine corals can utilize.
Do not overdose.
1 ml of Bromine in 100 liters of water increases bromine by 1.23 mg/L.
1 drop (0.08 ml) increases bromine in 20 liters by 0.5 mg/L.
