Potassium is a very important element in biochemistry and cell biology. In natural sea water it is present at a concentration similar to that of Calcium (380-410 mg/lt). While in standard aquariums it rarely becomes a limiting factor, in aquariums where zeolite-based filtration methods are used, its concentration can decrease.
